This quilt was made using all cotton fabrics, including a cotton batting inside layer. The front has 9 ‘flowers’ in various colors with a pale yellow interior border, all on a mid navy blue background. I hand quilted this with Japanese sashiko cotton thread to hold it all together. The binding is hand finished at the back side and I used a dark green mini printed cotton for the backing.
