This quilt was made using all cotton fabrics, including a cotton batting inside layer. The front checkerboard is made up of blue chambray with a sweet, mini floral print in black mixed with white and lavender solids. I hand quilted this with Japanese sashiko cotton thread to hold all layers together. The binding is hand finished at the back side and I used a solid blue cotton for the backing.
